AJC Westchester/Fairfield No Hate in Our States

By Myra Clark-Siegel, Director, AJC Westchester/Fairfield
Ukraine is under attack.
As the first Jewish organization in the world to support the restoration of Ukrainian independence in 1991, AJC stands in full solidarity with the Ukrainian people and remains committed to Ukraine’s full sovereignty and territorial integrity.
On March 18, AJC Westchester/Fairfield convened an interfaith/intergroup solidarity event with the people of Ukraine. We thank our partners: Westchester Jewish Council and the Westchester County Human Rights Commission in bringing this gathering together and to Rev. Doris Dalton, chair of the Westchester Human Rights Commission, for emceeing this important event.
We were honored by the officials who joined us including: NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins; Westchester County Executive George Latimer; Westchester County Board of Legislators Chair Catherine Borgia; Westchester County Board of Legislators Vice Chair, Nancy Barr; NY State Senators Shelley Mayer; and Assemblymember Amy Paulin; among many officials.
Myra Clark-Siegel is AJC Westchester/Fairfield regional director. To join our efforts: westchester@ajc.org.
