19 Rabbis Deliver Critical Medical Supplies
and Meet Refugees

UJA-Federation of New York announced a coalition of 19 local rabbis visited Poland to assess current and future needs of Ukrainians. They brought urgently needed medical supplies and humanitarian aid for vulnerable Ukrainians who remain in Ukraine, as well as refugees who have fled the country.
The rabbis represent synagogues in New York City, Long Island and Westchester. The humanitarian mission began Sunday, March 13, in Warsaw and continued through Tuesday, March 15, making stops in Przemsyl (a major transit hub for refugees), Lublin and Srodborow.
The visit is part of UJA’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, including $5 million in grants that recently have been allocated to help Ukrainians.
