James Staudt of Larchmont Honored by
United Hebrew of New Rochelle

Larchmont resident James Staudt, a partner in the law firm of McCullough, Goldberger & Staudt, LLP (MGS) in White Plains, was honored on September 12, 2022, at United Hebrew’s Annual Golf Tournament and dinner. The ceremony took place at the Westchester Country Club in Rye.
Staudt is being honored for his work with United Hebrew of New Rochelle, particularly for his guidance during the COVID pandemic. He served as Chairman of the Board at United Hebrew until 2021. Staudt has volunteered countless hours during the past seven years, serving as a member and chair, and currently serving as co-senior chair of United Hebrew’s board of directors. He has provided vision, guidance, and hands-on support to help United Hebrew expand to serve a greater number of seniors in need of compassionate care.
United Hebrew of New Rochelle notes, “Staudt has been an enthusiastic volunteer, stalwart supporter and extraordinary leader in service to United Hebrew of New Rochelle.”

Staudt has practiced municipal, land use and real estate law throughout eastern New York, including representation of lenders in complex building loan transactions and representation of private and public entities in land use matters. He has represented religious institutions and municipalities in RLUIPA actions and has regularly lectured on RLUIPA and other land use topics. He was General Counsel to the former Sound Federal Savings and a member of their Board of Directors.
Staudt has been an active participant in the legal community. He is a past president of the Westchester County Bar Association Foundation.
